One of the first signs that spring is officially here in our garden is the burgeoning azalea blooms and bright green foliage.
Resilience
This 8 year old flowering bush from the "Rhododendron" genus has been a mainstay in what is primarily a fruit and vegetable garden. It's foliage turns a beautiful bronze color at the arrival of fall and winter and returns each spring with these deep pink flowers and bright green leaves.
The arrival of these blooms are a sure sign that it is time for the serious yard work to begin, and the wonders of garden in the spring, summer and fall are on the way.
